Dogpatch

Dogpatch, also known as Central Waterfront, is a 141-acre bayside neighborhood that borders Potrero Hill, Mission Bay, and Islais Creek. Home to the Museum of Craft and Design, as well as numerous art galleries and indie shops, Dogpatch is a trendy area with a curious history. As far back as the 1800s, Dogpatch was a shipbuilding hub. To this day the district has maintained its industrial aesthetic through the numerous large warehouses lining its streets. Many of these warehouses have been converted into lofts, shops, and galleries. Dogpatch also borders Crane Cove Park and Warm Water Cove Park. The neighborhood has a Walkscore of 89.
